Your body tells a story, and along the way there have been bumps, bruises and injuries that

your body remembers. Our body does a wonderful job of compensating, but once those

bumps and bruises are added on top of other bumps and bruises, pain and restriction often result.

At Healing Integrations I provide one-on-one personalized care tailored to each patient's individualized needs based on their goals and an extensive evaluation. Time, communication and education are emphasized to achieve optimum results.

My office offers a relaxed welcoming environment, where after a thorough history is taken, a complete detailed evaluation will also be performed (and can be sent to your physician of choice). Your entire body is assessed to find the areas of restriction in relation to your problems. Often, these areas of restriction are not only at the area of pain, but are connected through lines of tension to other areas of the body. These areas are typically missed and need to be released for a more complete resolution of symptoms. Going forward, extensive hands on treatment will form the basis of each session with appropriate exercises added to facilitate and enhance the carryover from treatment.

Some of the symptoms I treat:

Neck Pain
Headaches
Low Back Pain
Pelvis and Sacro Iliac Joint problems
Shoulder and Arm dysfunctions
Foot and Ankle dysfunctions
Chronic Alignment Issues
We also offer custom Orthotic Evaluations
As a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Physical Therapist, I utilize the most advanced manual therapy techniques to address the area of pain or dysfunction and the relating lines of tension resulting for compensations the body has built up. By addressing these compensations, the body is able to process a deeper level of clearing, leading to greater healing and pain relief.

Healing Integrations specializes in five essential forms of Therapy and Treatment:

Advanced Physical Therapy Techniques

A branch of rehabilitative health that utilizes evaluation and treatment to assist in the recovery of patients with pain or dysfunction due to trauma, surgery, injuries or overuse. It utilizes extensive evaluation to determine the areas of the problem or dysfunction and then designs a personalized treatment plan which utilizes manual therapy, including soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization as well as integrating therapeutic exercises to assist in retraining injured or weakened muscles.

Physical Therapy improves:

Mobility

Functional Ability

Quality of Life

Movement Potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention

Visceral Manipulation

A gentle hands-on manual therapy that addresses the visceral (organ) systems of the body. These deep layers of organs and tissues are connected to the more superficial layers of muscles and joints. This approach evaluates the mobility of the organs as well as nerves, blood vessels and fascia, much as how a muscle or joint would be evaluated. The premise is everything within the body needs to move. Often due to surgery, trauma or some type of injury, scar tissue or restrictions result in limitations in how the organs and other deep tissues move. This causes other tissue around it as well as the more superficial layers of muscles and joints to often compensate for the restricted motion. This leads to altered tension and movement patterns that eventually lead to pain and dysfunction. By evaluating and treating these deep inner layers, restrictions in mobility can be released and normalized movement patterns can be restored - as well as a reduction in pain.

Conditions helped by visceral manipulation include:
Neck Pain and Headaches
Back Pain
Pelvis and Sacral Iliac Pain
Scar Tissue from Injury or Surgery

Reflux, Abdominal Gas and Bloating

Orthopedic Conditions such as Shoulder and Knee Pain

Craniosacral Therapy
A holistic healing practice that uses a very light touch to balance the craniosacral system in the body, which includes the bones, nerves, fluids, and connective tissues of the cranium and spinal area. It gently releases restrictions allowing increased ease in the body.

Craniosacral Therapy is used to treat a myriad of issues, including:
Migraines and Headaches
Chronic Neck and Back Pain
Stress and Tension Related Disorders
Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia
Orthopedic Problems
TMJ Syndrome
Scoliosis
And many other conditions

Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT)

Lymph Drainage Therapy is a gentle technique that is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph from the tissue's space in the body. LDT enables practitioners to detect the specific rhythm, direction, depth and quality of the lymph flow anywhere in the body. From there, the hands are used to perform Manual Lymphatic Mapping (MLM) of the vessels to assess the overall circulation and determine the best alternate pathways for draining body-fluid stagnations. The result of these actions can include reductions in edemas (swelling), detoxification of the body, and the regeneration of tissue, including burns, wounds and wrinkles.

Additional results of Lymphatic Drainage are:

Relief of chronic pain

Relief of numerous chronic and subacute inflammations, including sinusitis, bronchitis and otitis

Reduction in the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia

Antispastic actions to relieve conditions such as muscle hypertonus and some forms of constipation

Deep relaxation to aid insomnia, stress, loss of vitality and memory loss

Reiki

A form of therapy that uses simple hands-on as well as hands-off the body techniques and visualization techniques, with the goal of improving the flow of life energy in a person. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means "universal life energy" in Japanese. Reiki practitioners are trained to detect and alleviate problems with energy flow on the physical, emotional and spiritual level. It is a safe technique, and has been used successfully by doctors, nurses, psychologists, hospitals, and other health professions to bring deeper caring and healing to their practices.

Reiki has many benefits such as:

Reducing Stress

Stimulating the Immune System

Increasing Energy

Relieving Pain and the Symptoms of Health Conditions

Helping Patients with Acute and Chronic Illnesses, and Trauma and Recovery from Surgery
